Walsh Infection Control  Solutions is part of the Walsh Integrated family of Mobile Management Systems.  We have been developing handheld technology for hospitals since 1994, and have spent millions in R&D, creating unique and powerful solutions.  

In early 2009 we began investigating the state of technology in the Infection Control area, specifically looking at Hospital Acquired Infections, or “HAIs”.  We have concluded that:

1.      Our technology, with the proper modifications, will have a tremendous impact on reducing HAIs.

2.       The proper design will require direct interaction of industry professionals and other interested parties.

While a lot of measures are being developed from the chemical and cleaning side, there is very little focus on technology geared towards sustainable compliance improvements. 

Initially, our approach is to target our technology toward managing behavioral change.  Our background in healthcare technology and behavioral change has shown that adherence to policies and procedures is possible, but requires a new approach.  Our technology is a component of that approach.
